Favourite Garden

Coton Manor - Why? it has many different and interesting areas, diverse planting and enormous depth of colour in the borders. The planting combinations, fragrances, meadow and bluebell woods are also fantastic.

Rachael Bell - Assistant Garden designer

Rachael approaches design with an unswerving determination to deliver the absolute best in terms of spatial relationship with the house. Her gardens are simple, stylish and probably involve a lot of bulbs...

Favourite Garden

Asthall Manor - Why? it wraps elegantly around the house, with an easy flowing style, full of my favourite elements from the typical English Country House palette; it is neither too perfect nor too rigid and has idyllic views over the River Windrush. (Perhaps it is because I only ever see it in June that it stays picture perfect in my mind!)

Ronnie Graham - Senior Contracts Manager

Ronnie has spent the last 10 years as Contracts Manager at Nicholsons building gardens for the Design team. Nicholsons also build many gardens for other designers including industry names like Fernando Caruncho, James Alexander Sinclair, Tom Stuart Smith, Lucciano Giubbilei and Mary Keen.
